A sign on a private road in Weston was defaced with a spray-painted Nazi swastika symbol late Friday night or early Saturday morning, police said on Monday.
The act of anti-Semitic vandalism, which took place on Connors Lane, appears to be an isolated incident, police said.
“We haven’t seen something like this for quite a while, and no other incidents like this were reported over the weekend,” said police Detective Carl Filsinger.
The graffiti is under investigation, but there are no suspects yet. Filsinger added that the defacement did not appear to be directed at any particular individual.
